Pit Pocket Tricks

To avoid being a target of a pit pocket here are some simple pit pocket tricks that can help you.

  • Be aware of your money when getting bumped by someone else.
    		•
  • Be aware of someone approaching you and asking for help or directions.
    		•
  • Be aware of someone causing a disturbance that draws everyone’s attention.
    		•
  • Avoid being surrounded by a crowd, especially if you are surrounded by groups of children
    		•
  • Having something spilled on you or someone pointing out a spot on your clothing. Be aware.
    		•
  • Sew or iron on some Velcro to the pockets of your swimming shorts. Your loose change, keys etc. will stay safe to stop pickpockets.
