Heathrow airport car parking is to thrill-seekers what a foreign foods bonanza is to a “foodie”. Several agencies appear to offer great deals on parking services, complete with a shuttle service that will take the motorist from their vehicle to the airport’s front doors for a small fee. Shuttles, at Heathrow, are nearly a compulsory service as the expedition from one’s car spot to the airport is generally akin to a trek across the Antarctic in sheer depth and adventurous potential.

Now, it should be acknowledged that the Heathrow secured airport car park is far from a barren, icy wasteland. It is, however, a quite audacious place with many a vehicle bustling about fighting the good fight for parking spots and walking about in such a place can be quite daunting, even for the most experienced of airport trekker. This is why the shuttle is such an important service for airport travellers.

It doesn’t matter when you visit London, you will most likely encounter a rain shower or two. The winter weather is cold, damp and quite wet. Winter can bring about a dismal disposition, but that doesn’t have to stop you from enjoying the masses of theaters, concerts and exhibitions that the city has to offer. Perhaps you would like to travel about the city on one of London’s red double-deckers. There is also the choice of riding on more modern double- and single-deckers. A bus trip in London that travels through the city center costs one pound, other costs can set you back a mere 70 pence.

The cheapest and fastest way to travel about London is to utilize the London Underground, also known as “the tube“. It can be quite crowded during rush hour, but it still isn’t that much of a set back, it is still the way to go. You can identify an underground stations by its red circle with a blue crossbar.
